MEMBERSHIPS
IMO – the International Maritime Organization – is the United Nations specialized agency with responsibility for the safety and security of shipping and the prevention of marine pollution by ships.
As a specialized agency of the United Nations, IMO is the global standard-setting authority for the safety, security and environmental performance of international shipping.
Canalship is an IMO certified agency since 2012.
Istanbul and Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean and Black Sea Regions Chamber of Shipping, briefly called the Turkish Chamber of Shipping (TCS), is an important professional organization of the Turkish maritime sector, with its headquarters in Istanbul.
The most important aim of the Turkish Chamber of Shipping is to try to develop shipping in accordance with the national transportation and shipping policy and the public interest.

Jawhara Sails!
In early 2014 Jawhara 05 was transported from port of Galveston Texas, USA to the shipyard of GEMAK in Tuzla, TURKEY.
Canalship assisted in all means in this project for all needs in Turkey and served as a professional maritime agent that has taken care of several parts of the Jawhara 05 project.
